Along the relentless quest for surreal landscapes capturing and creation, there appears the need to incorporate a human figure as part of the whole scene. Exploring with an unfiltered, social-labelling free look made me focus exclusively on child portraits. To create imaginary characters’ stories which become alive having each child as a great protagonist.

My twins posed for her two years in her third and fourth birthdays, they just hugged her, they felt comfortable. Today we live in the US but I certainly hope to be close to her again to be able to have more works of art from her hand.

Working with JuliaArtPhotography was for our girl living a fairy tale in the first person, choosing a picturesque place that we loved for the photo report.

Júlia is able to bring out the best in each child, making it a very natural session and the children do not feel self-conscious in front of the camera. The photo session has a start time but no end time, which makes things flow and it’s done in a calm way.
